What I've been up to lately

Since having a booth in Cee's Autumnfest Boutique, I have been CRAZY busy! I have completed 70+ orders and still going!  I never would have thought so many people would be interested in what I can do and I'm thrilled! I have been so busy and have had quite a few different things going, I thought I would show you all what I have been up to. These two pictures are of signs I have made from pictures brought to me to re-create.

Along with custom orders I have done, I will be trying to make a few little signs for each holiday. These Conversation Hearts were a BIG hit. I posted this on Facebook

and ended up with 40 more to make!

This month was also my brother and sister-in-laws' baby shower for their soon-to-be-here little boy! I was asked to make 70 cupcakes for the event. I made chocolate cupcakes with vanilla butter cream frosting. I made the football, teddy bear, and footprint toppers out of Wilton chocolate melts. I think they turned out pretty cute.

Lastly, it was my little Brody's 4th birthday! He wanted a construction birthday so of course I got on Pinterest to see what I could do! Here is how it turned out!

I made Earthquake Cake for the "chocolate fill dirt" and it was a SO GOOD! I had several people ask me for the recipe. Brody and all the kids seemed to enjoy the party overall, so I'll take that as a WIN!

I got the hard hats, the cones, and the fillers for the bags on Amazon for fairly cheap!

Craft Show Time!

Today, I am making my debut into the world! I will be setting up my first booth at a local craft show/boutique. I'm pretty nervous however, I've had tons of help and support from Cody (my awesome husband), my friend Tish, and my family, so I think I'm all ready! I went to bed at TEN o'clock last night! That right there means that we're doing pretty good.

Here are some pictures of the things I have made for this show.

If you're dropping by to see because I put my blogspot url on my price tags and you're interested in anything, leave me a comment. Since everything is hand painted and I don't use stencils or anything, I can pretty much paint anything you might like.

Hope you like what you see :)
First off, here is the cute sign I made so everyone knows their signs were Sadie Mae'd
(made by Sadie Mae) get it?

A whole lot of cutting, sanding, staining/painting, and carpal tunnel going on right there!:)
