Craft Show Time!

Today, I am making my debut into the world! I will be setting up my first booth at a local craft show/boutique. I'm pretty nervous however, I've had tons of help and support from Cody (my awesome husband), my friend Tish, and my family, so I think I'm all ready! I went to bed at TEN o'clock last night! That right there means that we're doing pretty good.

Here are some pictures of the things I have made for this show.

If you're dropping by to see because I put my blogspot url on my price tags and you're interested in anything, leave me a comment. Since everything is hand painted and I don't use stencils or anything, I can pretty much paint anything you might like.

Hope you like what you see :)
First off, here is the cute sign I made so everyone knows their signs were Sadie Mae'd
(made by Sadie Mae) get it?

A whole lot of cutting, sanding, staining/painting, and carpal tunnel going on right there!:)

Fifty, finished and Fabulous.

Back in August, my mother-in-law turned fifty! Later that month she finished the RN program, which meant this awesome, hard-working lady deserved a party!
Fifty, finished and fabulous was the theme. This banner was made out of butcher paper and craft paint. Kind of difficult to do when the banner is twice the size of my little kitchen floor.
On the right, we hung pictures from the past. My handy husband built the two stands out of some 1x4s we had laying around.

With any party I throw, cupcakes are always involved.
Since my mother-in-law is a Texas woman, I made mini Texas sheet cake cupcakes

Her addiction is Diet Dr. Pepper with Cherry and Vanilla so I turned that into a cupcake by making Dr.Pepper cupcakes topped with vanilla buttercream, a cherry and a straw to top it off.

The last flavor I made was Strawberry Cheesecake because anytime we celebrate with Yvette, the family makes her some cheesecake. These cupcakes have a graham cracker crust, a delicious sour cream vanilla cake batter with diced strawberries(seriously, the batter was SO good), cream cheese frosting and a strawberry on top.

Being my first post, bear with me. I will get the recipes for these yummy cupcakes and post them soon!
